Chelsea Winter Illuminations

Chelsea Winter Illuminations commissioned IVY CRUZ to design and install a captivating large-scale seasonal botanical scheme for their prestigious annual winter event — one of London’s most celebrated festive destinations. The brief was to create a grand, immersive entrance experience that would set the tone for the entire event, seamlessly blending natural botanical elements with the enchantment of winter illuminations.

Our team designed and installed two signature large-scale floral arches at the venue entrance. The centrepiece — a dramatic arch adorned with the iconic Chelsea Winter Illuminations signage — was dressed with rich evergreen garlands, warm fairy lights, and an abundance of gold, copper, and amber baubles. Matching floor arrangements at the base of each column added depth and grandeur to the composition, creating a truly spectacular gateway for visitors arriving at the event.

A second architectural arch, framing the ornate iron gates, was transformed with premium evergreen garlands interwoven with warm fairy lights and opulent seasonal florals. When illuminated at dusk, the golden glow of the lighting against the winter sky created a stunning visual focal point that became one of the most photographed elements of the entire event.

Both installations were designed to look breathtaking in both daylight and after dark, with the evening illumination revealing the full magic of the botanical scheme. The use of premium artificial botanicals and integrated lighting ensured a maintenance-free, weather-resistant installation that remained pristine and vibrant throughout the duration of the event — regardless of the winter conditions.
