VY CRUZ was commissioned to design a bespoke artificial floral installation for Decorum, a restaurant in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. The design was developed to enhance the restaurant’s modern interior with a striking floral feature that complements its existing design elements.

Floral Installation Overview

The installation presents a series of custom-made artificial floral trees, carefully positioned to enhance the dining area. Each tree features a gold framework that supports a dense canopy of vibrant, deep red and burgundy artificial cherry blossom and hydrangea, interspersed with maple leaves and subtle gold foliage accents. The colour palette was chosen to complement the restaurant’s gold fixtures and create a visually appealing focal point.

Design and Integration

The floral trees are strategically aligned with the restaurant’s banquette seating and marble tables, creating a harmonious flow throughout the space. The height and density of the floral arrangements were carefully calibrated to frame the dining experience, offering an intimate yet open atmosphere.
