Festive entrance installation
For the main entrance, IVY CRUZ designed a full archway of artificial foliage built around dense, deep‑green pine to echo traditional Christmas trees while remaining crisp and long‑lasting throughout the season. Layered through the foliage are branches in a soft, brushed gold, adding height and texture that frame the double doors and draw the eye to Paro’s signage. Oversized matte and gloss baubles in champagne, gold and metallic tones are clustered to create movement across the arch, with warm micro‑lights woven throughout to give a soft glow in the evening.
Detailing and materials
The installation uses premium faux spruce, mixed evergreen stems and fine twig work to achieve a natural, three‑dimensional feel that holds its shape in a busy, high‑footfall location. Large statement baubles are balanced with smaller shatterproof ornaments in coordinating finishes, allowing the design to read from a distance while rewarding close‑up views with layered detail. The warm white lighting is carefully integrated into the structure so cables are discreet, ensuring the focus remains on the greenery and metallic accents.
Street‑facing impact
To extend the visual story beyond the doorway, IVY CRUZ continued the scheme along the façade, wrapping columns and upper features in matching festive foliage and gold baubles. This creates a continuous line of colour that connects the entrance canopy with Paro’s projecting sign, helping the restaurant stand out on the streets of Covent Garden, particularly during darker winter afternoons and theatre rush hours. The result is a cohesive Christmas installation that feels tailored to Paro’s identity as a contemporary Indian restaurant while enhancing its visibility in one of London’s busiest dining districts
